Warning About NuvaRing

A couple of months ago I wrote a blog on a new method of birth control called NuvaRing. It sounded very promising. But it seems the risks far outweigh the benefits. The Star Ledger out of New Jersey reports:

A Roseland drugmaker was hit with 37 lawsuits recently filed in superior court in Essex County and federal court claiming the vaginal-insert contraceptive, NuvaRing, caused blood-clot complications that resulted in amputations, pulmonary embolisms and death, the New York Post reported Sunday.

Might be a good idea to hold off on using NuvaRing until all the facts are in.
