Soy Eases Menopause Symptoms
A natural remedy for the misery of menopause symptoms - the mood swings, hot flashes, night sweats, may be as simple as getting more soy based foods into your diet.
According to Nutrition, Naturally:
Soy is good for the menopause due to the phytoestrogen compounds which are present in soy.

These phytoestrogen compounds are similar to oestrogen.

iVillage Total Health explains:
As women move into menopause, their bodies begin to decrease estrogen production, resulting in hot flashes and other uncomfortable physical symptoms. Soy products such as tofu, tempeh and miso are rich sources of isoflavones, an estrogen-like substancelinks found in plants. Therefore, soy foods are a simple, natural hormone-replacement therapy.
