menopause and Sleep Disturbances
Filed in archive Menopause on June 11, 2007
This is a continuation of a previous article I wrote on sexuality and menopause. Now there's even ore reason to try to encourage sexual gratification during menopause. An article from DailyIndia.com reports:
A new research has found that women whose sexual craving diminishes during menopause are more likely to suffer from disturbed sleep, depression symptoms, and night sweats.
If you are troubled by hot flashes and night sweats, My Menopause Blog suggests gettiing a Chillow:
Chillow is a noiseless, low-cost cooling alternative that is environmentally friendly, non-electric and non-toxic.
What does a Chillow do? ActiveForever.com says:
The Original Chillow Pillow is designed to keep your pillow cool - like an oasis for your pillow: cool, soothing, and relaxing. This added comfort increases your chances for better, more restful sleep. It's like sleeping in the shade with a gentle breeze.

We all have sleeping problems as we age, right? I have observed from my parents and grandparents, that as they age, the sleep less and less. I hate to admit, but I think I am going in that direction.
