Magic Pill?
Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could swallow one little pill and cure all our aches, pains and illnesses? An article in Ivanhoe's Medical Breakthroughs carries an interview with a man who claims he has developed that pill.

That man is David Sinclair, Ph.D., of Harvard medical school. He says in the interview:
..........modern medicine is based on treating one disease at a time. But what drugs haven't done is target the natural defense mechanisms of our bodies. He explained, "The body is a pretty clever and complex organism. It's not the molecules themselves that are miraculous. It's the genes that have evolved to protect the body."

The magic ingredient in the so-called magic pill is resveratrol. According to Boomers Making a Difference:
It's a substance found in red wine that could be the possible (very remotely possible) next anti aging elixir. Of course, as you would expect, supplement manufacturers have been jumping onto the resveratrol bandwagon in record numbers. We don't even know yet, if this stuff is safe for humans, but if there's a buck to be made and a willing consumer to buy it, damn the torpedos.

It's probably just another pipe dream, but wouldn't it be great if it really lived up to its promise?
