I've always believed that out minds can do a lot more for s than we give them credit for. I've used positive thinking, affirmations and meditation to bring about positive changes in my life.
Another method of using the mind is hypnosis. Can hypnosis help you lose weight? According to the Weight Loss Information Blog, it might be worth a try:
