Hope for Fibromyalgia Sufferers
According to Wikipedia:
Fibromyalgia (FM or FMS) is a chronic syndrome (constellation of signs and symptoms) characterized by diffuse or specific muscle, joint, or bone pain, fatigue, and a wide range of other symptoms.

Fibromyalgia has been dismissed as being all in the mind. Th medical world has attributed its symptoms to being caused by other ailments. Now it is grudgingly accepted as a real disorder, but methods of treatment have been sketchy at best.
But perhaps hope is on the horizon. An article from ArcaMax Health and Fitness states:
At a recent American Academy of Neurology meeting, researchers from the University of Texas Health science Center at San Antonio showed that Pregabalin (Lyrica), a medication approved as therapy for a condition called peripheral neuropathy caused by diabetes and a number of other medical conditions, was also effective in treating fibromyalgia. At an optimal dose, the drug decreased pain by an average of 50 percent. Currently, Lyrica is under review by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as an effective treatment for fibromyalgia.
