Dehydration and Migraine

Still looking for the trigger that brings on those blinding migraine headaches? Could it be dehydration? Teri Robert, MyMigraineConnection Lead Expert, explains it this way:

Dehydration can be a major issue, both in and of itself and as a headache or Migraine trigger. Many people mistakenly think it occurs only in hot weather and that you're not dehydrated if you're not thirsty. Both of these misconceptions lead to many cases of dehydration

Doctor Bingham's Blog tells us:

The majority of headaches are benign and are caused by dehydration, muscle spasms, stress or veterbral misalignments. It is important to know what type of headache you are suffering from prior to prescribing a type of treatment. If you are suffering from a dehydration headache, all the aspirin in the world won't decrease your pain.

I can always tell when I haven’t gotten enough to drink because those pains start rearing up in my neck and head. Not enough hydration inhibits proper blood flow. Not comfortable to endure! Thanks for the post!
