Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
March is National chronic fatigue syndrome Awareness Month. The NCSFA (National Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia Association gives an impressive list of resources for those suffering from CFS. The NCSFA states:

Although there is currently no known cure for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Fibromyalgia, patients may find relief in treating their individual symptoms.

One way to treat your symptoms is with a healthy diet. Catherine Morgan, in an article for Living with Chronic Fatigue Symdrome states:

Eating Healthy Wont Cure Your CFS, But Eating Poorly Will Make It Worse.

There is no cure for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS and FM), but many doctors believe that it is helpful to eat healthy. I believe this is true for several reasons; one - many people with CFS and FM are sensitive to chemicals and additives that are found in processed foods, two - refined sugars such as fructose are not good for anyone (except maybe a diabetic in insulin shock), three - good nutrition is found to benefit everyone, sick or not, it's just better for you.

But isn't that true for most illnesses and for general good health? Let's make March the month when we all take a step or two towards improving our diets.
