Birth Control Methods

As I mentioned in a previous article, there are many different methods of birth control to choose from. In the Dental and Health articles at Dental.com, there's a detailed description of the many methods available, from the pill:
It's been around for about fifty years now, and when taken as prescribed, it is a safe and effective way to prevent pregnancy from occurring.
to other forms of birth control:
Other forms of birth control such as the diaphragm, female condom and cervical cap are less than 80% effective and should not be used if you truly want to prevent pregnancy.
If you're worrying about the risks of using the pill, the Birth Control News alerts us to an article from C-Health that states:
The greatest health risk from the pill is cardiovascular disease including especially blood clots in veins (deep vein thrombosis or DVT), heart attacks, and strokes.
