Arthritis Gene Therapy
Arthritis can be a painful and debilitating disease. Medical News Today tells us about a new method of treatment that might abolish the pain and joint destruction of arthritis:
Early-stage research has found that a new gene therapy can nearly eliminate arthritis pain, and significantly reduce long-term damage to the affected joints, according to a study published in the journal Arthritis and Rheumatism.

The Science Blog also reports on studies done on gene therapy and arthritis:
University of Pittsburgh researchers have made the unprecedented and totally unexpected finding that localized gene therapy for arthritis produces healing effects on distant joints affected with the disease.
